Don’t you think that the word “flat” screen is rather, well, flat? It seems to me like there is a hint of sarcasm in naming it “flat”, which according to my dictionary means, among others, dull, uninteresting, insipid, deflated, lacking depth, shallow, etc. In my humble opinion, I think “slim” would have been a better word, e.g. slim screen, slim panel, slim display, etc.
